In the six years starting from 2018, Hong Kong Disneyland will continually grow and unveil new attractions, launching new offerings to the park almost every year through to 2023.
The first to open this year will be a Moana-themed entertainment venue in Adventureland.
Samuel Lau, executive vice president and managing director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, has also said there will be further first-of-a-kind attractions based on Marvel and Frozen.
The Iron Man Experience is the park’s most popular attraction, so in plans for continued growth as Asia’s Marvel epicentre, there will be a dedicated Marvel area featuring Ant-Man, The Wasp, and S.H.I.E.L.D.
Also starting from early January, the park’s iconic castle will be completely reimagined to pay tribute to all of the Disney princesses instead of just Sleeping Beauty. Due to the renovation work, the “Disney in the Stars” Fireworks will have had its finale on January 1.
Once the castle’s transformation is complete, the venue will showcase new daytime and nighttime entertainment. Hopefully most of you will already have enjoyed the firework displays over Christmas!
